The Krížava transmitter (1451 m) is a radio and television transmitter in Slovakia. It is located on the hill of the same name in the Lúcanská Malá Fatra mountain range.

Konstrukce sloupu má výšku 116 m.
Do provozu byl uveden 23. ledna 1970, kdy zacal jako první vysílac v CSSR šírit televizní signál v barve.
Vedle vysílace se nachází volne stojící ocelová telekomunikacní vež, jak i velká obslužná budova. Soucástí vysílacího strediska je i pracovište pro rízení letového provozu, monitorující vzdušný prostor nad Slovenskem.
Antény digitálního rozhlasového vysílání se nacházejí ve výšce 82 m, tj. v nadmorské výšce 1533 m n. m.

The column structure has a height of 116 m.
It was put into operation on January 23, 1970, when it became the first transmitter in the Czechoslovakia to broadcast a television signal in color.
Next to the transmitter is a free-standing steel telecommunications tower as well as a large service building. Part of the broadcast center is also a workplace for air traffic control, which monitors the airspace over Slovakia.
The digital radio broadcasting antennas are located at a height of 82 m, i.e. at an altitude of 1533 m above sea level.
The center is one of the most powerful transmitters in Slovakia, and thanks to its considerable altitude, its signal is available over a large part of the country.
Stredisko patrí mezi nejvýkonnejší vysílace na Slovensku a díky znacné nadmorské výšce je jeho signál dostupný na velké cásti území zeme.
