The azimuth mark is best reached from either driving or hiking in along FS-703. The road begins to get rough around N41 16.445 W105 26.282; while higher-clearance 2WD vehicles can probably make it some distance past this point, I would recommend that only high clearance 4WD vehicles go past the split in the road at N41 16.873 W105 26.440.
Azimuth Condition: Good
Your Directions: The azimuth mark is set on the crest of a broad northwest-southeast ridge and is about 200 feet to the northeast of FS-703. It is cemented in a drill hole in a flat slab of limestone and is flush with the ground. It is about 6 inches to the southeast of a short section of T-post that has been driven into the ground.
