This benchmark is located on a section of publicly accessible Wyoming State Trust Land. While there is an improved dirt road directly to the west of the benchmark, it is unclear if it is open to be driven by the public. I did not see any "No Trespassing" or "Private Property" signs at the turnoff to the dirt road from Iberlin Road (a county road) at N44 00.750 W105 56.375, which is unusual, considering that nearly every non-county oilfield and private road in the Powder River Basin is signed to prevent access. If one is uncomfortable with driving down the improved road that runs past the mark (or if "No Trespassing" signs are put up in the future), I suggest parking near N44 00.585 W105 56.110, which is on the portion of Iberlin Road that crosses into the State Trust Land section. You can then hike across public land to reach the mark from here.

The benchmark is set in the top of a square concrete post that projects about 3 inches above the ground and is about 35 feet to the southeast of the centerline of the unnamed improved dirt road.
