This benchmark is located on a publicly accessible section of Wyoming State Trust land. To reach it, park along the west side of the highway directly to the east of the benchmark. Cross the barbed wire fence and walk towards a large snow fence. The mark is about 65 feet to the west of the snow fence and is set in the top of a rock outcrop that is exposed along the crest of the small ridge. It is surrounded by a circle of rocks and a large weathered piece of what may have once been a wooden witness post.
