Elevated granary located in the open-air museum Jan Karlsgården. The granary was used for storing grain and other foodstuffs.

The granary is placed on high posts and flat stones, which should prevent rats and mice from entering the building.

The granary, which dates from 1771, originally stood at Mellangård in Hammarland. In 1933 it was moved to Jan Karlsgården where it can be seen during the museum's opening hours.

It is free to visit the museum, where in addition to the granary you can see barns, mills, stables and other agricultural buildings. All moved to the museum from other parts of the country.

Opening hours.
