De oorspronkelijke kerk is waarschijnlijk in laatgotische stijl. Het heeft in het verleden veel schade geleden, met name een brand in 1806, maar vooral de totale verwoesting tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Een project voor een nieuw gebouw in modernistische stijl werd afgewezen en in 1924 werd uiteindelijk een eclectisch gebouw in basiliekstijl gebouwd, waar we zowel neoromaanse invloeden in de toren terugvinden, maar ook regionale en vooral Byzantijnse invloeden. Kenmerkend voor deze laatste stijl zijn de drie koepelgewelven boven het schip.

Binnenin ziet u het sobere meubilair uit de wederopbouwperiode, het standbeeld van Sint-Marguerite achter het altaar en de neoromaanse biechtstoelen.

L’église d’origine est probablement de style gothique tardif. Elle a connu bien des dégâts dans le passé, notamment un incendie en 1806 mais surtout une destruction totale lors de la première guerre mondiale. Un projet d’un nouveau bâtiment de style moderniste a été rejeté et on a finalement construit en 1924 un édifice éclectique de style basilique où on retrouve à la fois des influences néo-romanes dans la tour mais aussi régionales et surtout byzantines. Caractéristiques de ce dernier style, les trois voûtes en dôme au-dessus de la nef.

On remarquera à l’intérieur le mobilier sobre datant de l’époque de la reconstruction, une statue de sainte Marguerite derrière l’autel et des confessionnaux néo-romans.

The original church is probably in the late Gothic style. It has suffered much damage in the past, notably a fire in 1806 but above all total destruction during the First World War. A project for a new modernist-style building was rejected and an eclectic basilica-style building was finally built in 1924 where we find both neo-Romanesque influences in the tower but also regional and especially Byzantine influences. Characteristic of the latter style are the three domed vaults above the nave.

Inside, note the sober furniture dating from the reconstruction period, a statue of Saint Marguerite behind the altar and neo-Romanesque confessionals.
