This is a sample of hórreos (cabaceiros, canastros, piornos... lot of names) which are elevated constructions in which grain, flour, ham, sausages were stored ... The reason for being elevated is that this way the rodents climbed by the feet and when they reached the top and turned upside down, they fell. The "hórreos" in Galicia, etc. are examples of Atlantic constructions that there are in countries of this ocean or of Celtic traditions..
This hórreo has stone and wood in sides. We are in a town named Parda de Piñor, Barbadás Council. Close It I have a traditional caché, and before It isn't here, It's new (around two years old)
Address: Parada de Piñor
