"El Museo del Patriarca en València existe como tal desde 1959, año en que se quiso compartir su increíble colección tanto artística como histórica con el público. En una de las zonas más céntricas de la ciudad, muy próximo a la Catedral y el Miguelete, este museo posee un buen número de piezas de alto valor y ofrece al visitante exposiciones temporales de mucho interés, además de proyecciones y conciertos en su precioso claustro.
En València, el Museo del Patriarca ha conseguido convertirse en visita obligada a través de un gran trabajo de programación, que incluye sus fondos más valiosos y las obras artísticas con las que el fundador dotó al colegio. Esta cuenta con muestras relevantes de pintura española de estilo gótico, del renacimiento con valiosas obras de El Greco, del barroco y además de pinturas del siglo XVIII y XIX. También incluye muestras de pintura italiana y flamenca con obras de autores como Caravaggio o Van Der Weyden, además de Ribalta, Benlliure o Pinazo.
El Museo del Patriarca permite al visitante sumergirse en el clima político y cultural de la Contrarreforma a través de la figura del patriarca, el arzobispo Juan de Ribera. En ese sentido, la colección reúne un buen número de objetos históricos entre los que destaca el manuscrito redactado por Tomás Moro durante su cautividad en la Torre de Londres, además de biblias, documentos, estudios musicales, partituras, esculturas y un largo etc."
