Later it was inhabited by the counts of Las Quemadas, and today it houses the Higher School of Dramatic Art and Dance of Córdoba.
Description
On the outside, the cover stands out, articulated in two bodies. In the lower body is the lintel door, flanked by columns and pilasters that support a classic entablature and a curved pediment broken by the second body, and presided over by the coat of arms of the Fernández de Mesa family.
Inside, the two-section main staircase, built in the 16th century, with plasterwork decoration with heraldic motifs, and the baroque-style main patio with a trapezoidal floor plan and galleries of columns, deserve special mention.
State of conservation
It is in good condition, restored and adapted for use as a Higher School of Dramatic Art and Dance.
