This green metal disk is cemented into the rock outcropping alongside highway U.S. Highway 6 in central Utah. Around the outside of the disk is stamped, US Coast and Geodetic Survey benchmark. For Information write to the Director. $250 Fine or Imprisonment for Disturbing This Mark. In the center is T178 1970.It is located approximately 9.42 miles northeast of the intersection of U.S.50 and Utah State Route 132 at an angle of 24.63 degrees. It sits 23.3 feet east of the eastern edge of the highway at an angle of 105.41 degrees.
