From the north edge of the single-lane bridge over the river, drive north for about 170 feet. From here, the survey marker is located about 20 feet to the west of the centerline of Muddy Ridge Road and about 20 feet north of the center of a two-track road leading west. It is set in the top of a round concrete post that is flush with the surface of the ground and is about 2 feet to the east of a T-post with a gold-painted top.
