1400 North Second Street
Laura Ebeling Rohlfing House (c. 1887-1890). Story and a half duplex. Remained in the family until 1975. Common in design with its wooden porch, paired gables, fieldstone foundation and dentil cornice. Brick herringbone sidewalk is original. Location of the "original" Frenchtown Museum founded by Richard Vinson.

Two family carved Eastlake brackets and porch post frame - gabled dormers with pierced work, moldings, carved brackets, segarched 2/2 windows, chimneys at north end of roof.
