"A cistern with a capacity of 62 cubic meters, a typology different from the other constructions of this type in the Albaicín. It has an almost square plan with a large barrel vault attached to the outside. In the 1940s, the pillar with two pipes would be added. The unusual appearance of the vault, together with the brick doorway with a niche, is reminiscent of forms typical of baroque chapels and hermitages with a strong urban imprint, which leads one to think that it is a Christian work, which remodels or replaces a cistern. Hispano-Muslim belonging to the mosque on which the church of San Nicolás was built in the 16th century."
