This 'You Are Here' can be found on a sign depicting the whole of Beveridge Park, a large municipal park towards the southern end of the large Fife town of Kirkcaldy on the Firth of Forth coast of Scotland.
Beveridge Park is named after its benefactor, the former Provost of the town, Michael Beveridge, who bequeathed 104 acres of his Raith Estate to the people of the town at a cost of £50,000. The park was laid out from 1891-92 by naturalist and civil engineer, William D. Sang with formal gardens, sporting and play facilities, and a boating lake. The park was officially opened by widow, Mrs E.H. Beveridge on September 24th 1892.
The sign can be found on the eastern edge of the park near the main car parking area on Abbotshall Road. It shows the whole park and highlights its facilities. The 'you are here' is to the left of the map as it is depicted facing south.
