Sunrise Marina Webcam at Port Canaveral - Web Cameras on Waymarking.com

It has come up as to why I have waymarked these various webcams - the answer is to promote phooning! In 1980, a man named John E. Darrow struck a particular pose for a handful of that summer's family vacation photos. He nicknamed it the "Phoon" (pronounced "foon"). "Phoon" was a made-up word that just sounded funny to him. It had no connection to any other word.

Since then, people from around the world send in Phoon pictures from their home towns and their travels and submitted them to his website www.phoons.com.

This webcam is on the docks at the Sunrise Marina. The marina has boat storage, fishing charters aboard the 65' Ocean Obsession Party Fishing Boat, Grills Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar, and a fishing supply shop.
