Austin Log Cabin National Historical Landmark

The Austin Log Cabin, owned first by Judge Calvin Austin in the early 1800's, was hidden under a normal looking house for many many years until it was discovered when some remodeling was attempted in the '70s. It was purchased and restored by the Austintown Historical Society. The namesake of Austintown Ohio, this historical landmark is open for tours on the first Sunday of every month from 1-4 and by appointment other times. The public is welcome to tour the grounds and see the sights anytime.

This cabin is purportedly haunted by a headless soldier who has been seen walking the streets and milling around inside the cabin. There have also been reports of blue lights within the confines (Visit Link).
