"El campanario , adosado al muro de mediodía, presenta dos cuerpos bien diferenciados. El primero es cuadrado y parece originario de la primera época de la iglesia aunque también podría ser anterior y formar parte de una torre de defensa o de vigía . El segundo cuerpo es de planta octogonal y consta de dos registros, un primer piso y separados por una moldura un segundo en el que se abren cuatro ventanas con arco de medio punto. Los muros presentan unos sillares bien escuadrados, sobre todo en el primer cuerpo y hace pensar que el segundo fue hecho con elementos reaprovechados en la reconstrucción de la iglesia en 1676. La ventana es rectangular; la piedra del dintel ofrece un trabajo dentro de las variantes del arco conopial-flamígero. El dintel reposa sobre sendas piedras también trabajadas a fin de dar más énfasis a la apertura del arco."
