The metre-wide printed metal map is mounted on a apricot-stuccoed wall in the grassy Newson Park. The map is oriented so that the True North indicator is pointing to the bottom of the map, at about 175°. It shows where you are south of Albury Street near the Public Playground which is shown between the Toilets and Monument.
It has a line-drawn map of the local streets with a comprehensive index, and also an extensive Legend on what can be found in the twin 'cities' of Harden-Murrumburrah.
The Map Legend has symbols for the following: Ambulance Station, Anglican Hall [Masonic symbol], Bowling Club, Burley Griffin Way, Bus Stop, Camping Area, Caravan Park, Cemetery, Council Office, Doctor, Fire Station, Golf Club, Hospital, Information Centre, Library, Monument/ Memorial, Picnic Area, Place of Worship, Playground, Police Station, Post Office, Railway Station, Rural Fire Service, School - Private, School - Public, Swimming Pool, and Toilets. [Unfortunately I wasn't able to get photos of EVERYTHING that was indicated!!] And with capital letters along the bottom, and numbers on the sides of the sign it was quite easily to identify the locations and streets.
