The Hugh John Flemming Bridge is located just north of Hartland, New Brunswick, which is mostly known for the World's Largest Covered Bridge. Because this bridge was viewable from the covered bridge, they went with a more elegant multi-span design when they built the bridge in 1960.

The bridge is concrete and has seven arches spanning 1525 metres. The bridge is open to vehicle traffic only. The bridge carries Route 130 over the Saint John River.
