This is a house museum, the home of the famous British archaeologist Howard Carter, the man who found the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Howard Carter lived in this house and it was from here that he worked and developed a notable archaeology campaign in Luxor.
After he died the house was left abandoned and only recently it was renovated, provided with a collection of artefacts to recreate the age when the notable man lived here and opened to the public.
