The symbol of the station is the side façade of the old National Auditorium building before its remodeling in 1993. In December 1984 this station functioned as a provisional terminal for line 7 of its first inaugurated section, until it was moved in August 1985. to Tacubaya. Inside it housed the permanent exhibition Metros del mundo, with on its walls explanatory cards of metro systems around the world, models and dioramas (this exhibition was replaced by one that pays tribute to the United Kingdom).
