"Isala Meppel is a regional hospital in the city of Meppel in Drenthe. Until new housing was moved into 2022, it was known as Diaconessenhuis Meppel. It provides inpatient and outpatient care to the residents of the Meppel region.

The new hospital on Reggersweg will open in 2022. It replaced the Diaconessenhuis on the Hoogeveenseweg. The locations are approximately 200 meters away. The new hospital scales down in floor area from 40,000 m² to 27,000 m². Increased reference to Isala Zwolle and digitalization made this reduction possible."
