The Geodetic Survey of Canada placed its first Ontario benchmark of 1968 in the southeast corner of the church building of St. John's Anglican, South March. The building dates from 1839. Services are still held there.

This site is a church and a cemetery. Please respect the property. There is parking on Sandhill Road, usually shaded.
