Technology, science, inventions, and reinventions have progressed at an accelerated rate during the hundred years of the 20th century, more so than any other century.

There were many technologies that helped define the next one hundred years, the aeroplane, automobiles, the radio, atomic bomb to the microwave oven. Inventions like the escalator, disposable razor, the air conditioner and the vacuum cleaner. And Albert Einstein published the Theory of Relativity and made the equation famous, E=mc2.
