There are two radio towers at this Calgary site. Both belong to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). They broadcast the FM signal for CBC Radio One Calgary at 99.1 MHz. Many other Calgary radio stations are co-located here as well.

“Broadcast Hill” in southwest Calgary got its name in the 1960s from the large number of radio and TV antenna located in the area, which overlooks much of the city. This is one of three broadcasting sites near Old Banff Coach Road that date back to at least the 1960s; the best-known is the CTV (CFCN) antenna and TV studio site at the far east edge of the hill, as well as the original CFAC site.

The CBC calls this site Calgary (Bowness)

The CBC’s CBR AM broadcasts from Calgary began in 1964 at 1010 AM, probably from this site. The studio was located at 1724 Westmount Boulevard. Before that, Calgary received CBC from a transmitter in Lacombe, midway between Calgary and Edmonton. (visit link) CBC Radio One switched over to prioritize FM broadcasting in 2006. Today, CBR-1 FM broadcasts CBC Radio One content at 99.1 FM, while a second transmitter located east of Calgary (near Strathmore) transmits the same content at 1010 AM.

Also transmitted from this site are CBC radio stations CBR CBC Music, CBCX ICI Musique, CBRF ICI Première, as well as CJSW Independent Radio, CJWE, CJAY 92, CKUA Radio Network, CHUP C97.7, CIBK Virgin Radio (Calgary), CKRY Country 105, and CFGQ QR. (visit link)
