This multiple war memorial cross was placed by the University of the South. It overlooks a nice view (called University View) down into the valley. One section of the cross memorial addresses the Persian Gulf War (here mentioned as Desert Storm).

This large, white multiple war memorial cross sits atop a stair step pedestal with a granite plaque on each of the four main sides with each plaque dedicated to a specific war. Some additional bronze plaques appear on the ground below the steps to add newer wars that have been fought.
