On the 4th floor of the Oklahoma State Student Union is the Veterans Lounge, a quiet hideaway with plenty of work space. Itis open to all students, faculty and visitors regardless of their military affiliation.
At the main entrance to the Veterans Lounge is a flag display and dedication plaque with a quote from President John F. Kennedy.
The plaque reads:
Thank you to Ann & Jim Halligan and the Division of
Student Affairs whose generosity helped make the
Veterans Lounge possible. We are grateful for their
leadership. It is with great appreciation that we recognize
the Halligans and Student Affairs for beginning a new
legacy for our Armed Forces and Veternas at OSU.
