The Kingman City Building, constructed in 1888, is a combination firehouse (on the west end) and multipurpose building (on the east end). The building now houses the Kingman County Museum. The listing on the NRHP is primarily due to the two hose-drying towers, the only ones remaining west of the Mississippi. The museum entrance is on the south side; admission is free with donations appreciated. Hours are Fridays 9 AM-3 PM, Saturdays 9 AM-12 PM, and by appointment. These stained-glass windows are in the west hose drying tower and can be viewed from both outside and inside the museum.
