[ENG] An oval lake with an east-west axis. The banks are hilly, alternatingly flat and steep. It is surrounded by forest from the north-west and by fields and meadows from the other parts. The village of Narty and summer resorts stretch along the southern shore.

The bottom and coastal parts of the lake are hard - sandy or gravel-sand, without major silt deposits, the bottom of the north-eastern part - silt with clay. The coastal bank on the western side is long and gradually slopes towards the center of the lake, while on the higher shores it is shorter. Aquatic vegetation is poorly developed, only some parts of the lake are covered with hard emergent vegetation - seaweed. Submerged vegetation is poorly developed and occurs only along ponds and seamounts.

[POL] Owalne jezioro z osia wschód – zachód. Brzegi pagórkowate, na przemian plaskie i strome. Od pólnocnego zachodu otacza je las, od innych pola i laki. Wzdluz poludniowego brzegu ciagnie sie wies Narty i zabudowa letniskowa.

Dno i partie przybrzezne jeziora sa twarde – piaszczyste lub zwirowo-piaszczyste, bez wiekszych nalotów mulu, dno czesci pólnocno-wschodniej – mul z glina. Lawica przybrzezna od strony zachodniej jest dluga i stopniowo opadajaca w kierunki srodka jeziora, zas przy brzegach wyzszych – krótsza. Roslinnosc wodna jest rozwinieta w niewielkim stopniu, tylko niektóre partie jeziora porosniete sa twarda roslinnoscia wynurzona – oczeretami. Roslinnosc zanurzona jest slabo rozwinieta, wystepuje jedynie wzdluz oczeretów i górek podwodnych.
