Bert Glenn was one of 8 children - 6 boys and 2 twin girls (Minnie and Winnie) who grew up in Wewoka Oklahoma. He completed his DVM degree at Oklahoma State University and worked as a professor at the Veterinary Medicine School at OSU in Stillwater for over 40 years.
Betty Glenn was one of 3 children and was a School and Music teacher in California. After marrying Bert they lived in Stillwater, OK for over 50 years.
Bert and Betty are my Aunt and Uncle. My mom Winnie was Bert's sister.
Pauline Gregg who is included on the same headstone is Betty's mother who they cared for in her older years.
3 Doves of peace are engraved in the granite headstone. 2 doves on the left side are sitting on a branch. The single dove on the right is also sitting on a branch that appears to be a dogwood tree branch.
The plaque on the ground in front of the headstone is a poem Bert wrote for Betty.
