At the top of the entrance to the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, we can see this large shield of the Order of Our Lady of Mercy, a magnificent heraldic piece that ennobles the façade and is formed by two sided shields: the shield of Isabel II Queen of Spain (of the Bourbons) and the shield of the Order of Mercy.

Simplified model of the shield of Isbael II, "Isabel II of Spain, called "the one of the Sad Fates" or "the Castiza Queen" (Madrid, October 10, 1830-Paris, April 9, 1904), she was queen of Spain between 1833 and 1868, thanks to the repeal of the Succession Regulation of 1713 (commonly called "Salic Law" "
