Hours:

Sunday: 12 PM to 7 PM
Monday - Wednesday: 3 PM to 9 PM
Thursday - Saturday: 12 PM to 10 PM

You can also pick up beer to go between 9 AM and 3 PM or whenever the taproom is open.

If you are a fan of New England-style ("Hazy") IPAs, Turning Point is for you. They've got nearly two dozen of 'em on their draft menu, but it's not totally hopeless for us old-timers, as they have a very nice West Coast IPA (and an "NA" counterpart) and some dark stuff like stout and porter. Fans of crazy sours will find a few selections, and they do have some other styles available as can pours. If you're looking for food, Motor City Pizza takes care of them in that regard. As their stuff is higher octane, keep yourself hydrated with the water cooler at the center of the taproom.

It's counter service here, and they have an interesting flights "kiosk" made up of a table on two barrels where you can look at the menu and fill out a card with your selections, rather than standing up at the bar and creating a logjam while you think things over. Printed menus on the counter complement the listing on the wall, with the available canned beers on a shelf on the wall (and in the to-go cooler). The service is outstanding.

The taproom is huge, with a lot of tables, lots of beer garden-style seating, bar seating, a few covered booths, and even some places to lean over by some of the brewing equipment. Their casks for aging are against one wall where the door goes into the main brewery (where there's also private event space). There's an interesting lounge area down low, with plenty of outlets if you're going to park on their free (non-secure) wi-fi, and you'll also find plenty of outlets under the bar. They generally have a food truck outside at the taproom entrance, and if Rover or Fido are with you, they're welcome to sit with you at the picnic tables there. Per their FAQ, "We love pets, but due to health code, we can not have any animals in the taproom unless they are service dogs. Well-behaved dogs are allowed outside at the patio tables." On the plus side, the building itself provides considerable shelter in the afternoon!

They don't appear to host any live music -- if they do, it's rare -- but they do all kinds of events. Check their Facebook page for all the current news and to see which food truck will be parked outside when you visit.
