An abstract piece of art is found at the south end of the linear park that parallels IH-10 on the west side of the highway. This work of art is near the entrance to a small parking lot for this small neighborhood park.

Eduardo Garcia Park is located at 1200 N. Frio, San Antonio, Texas 78207. It is a linear park the separates the traffic traveling along IH-10 as it passes through this part of the city from the many multistoried apartment buildings west of this narrow but long park. The local folks walk the sidewalks of this park and take advantage of the shade of oak trees that dot the landscape within this park. Clusters of concrete benches are often placed under the trees but some are in the open areas of the park.

An open parking lot entrance is at the south end of the park at GPS coordinates 29.4351 -98.50419. The featured abstract art is within sight of and is easy walk from this free parking area.

The art is supported on a flat concrete slab. Several thick steel beams that are painted black come up vertically from the concrete slab and have large, flat but shaped plexiglass attached to the selected steel beams. It is visible from most of the linear park. Cars passing by on the IH-10 access road can easily see this artwork as they whiz by.
