Elle était tenue par la veuve Guimbaud, cousine éloignée de Madeleine Valadon (mère de l'artiste peintre Suzanne Valadon) qui y travaillait en tant que lingère. Cette pension accueillait depuis 1840 les voyageurs de passage. La grange attenante était réservée aux chevaux.

[EN] A former inn built in the early 17th century. It was run by the widow Guimbaud, a distant cousin of Madeleine Valadon (mother of painter Suzanne Valadon), who worked there as a linen maid. Since 1840, this guesthouse had welcomed travellers passing through. The adjoining barn was reserved for horses.
