In 1710, several Anabaptist families from Zurich, Switzerland, who had faced religious persecution in Europe, sailed from London to the New World at William Penn’s invitation. They settled in the Pequea Creek area of Pennsylvania, where they found the land to be a good bargain despite its high price. They established a meetinghouse in 1719, which was later replaced by a new brick church in 1889. The Brick Church became notable for its English sermons and evangelistic meetings. Over time, the church underwent several renovations and expansions, including a significant one in 1996. The church continued to evolve with new leadership, including pastors and bishops, and expanded its ministries with new roles and facilities.
The church conducts services to this day:
8:15-9:00AM – Coffee & Fellowship
9:00-10:00AM – Sunday School
10:15AM – Worship Service
