There are six named cemeteries here! The northmost on the east side of the road is Masonic Cemetery; a small IOOF cemetery is to the south. This tall Woodmen Circle monument is set for Essie White, who lived but forty-one years. The monument is in a typical Woodmen style; a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a square stone base. The inscription is:

L. F. WHITE
JAN. 31, 1879
APR. 17, 1920
As a wife, devoted;
as a mother,
affectionate;
As a friend, ever
kind and true.
