This year the fair dedicated to San Guido, patron saint of the city, will be even richer in initiatives . Palazzo Levi has decided to organize the big party together with «Eventi Acqui», the association born from the union of Soms, Spat and Amici del Carnevale.

The calendar of events for the patronal fair, which will take place on the second weekend of July, will not only include the amusement park, the large market, the fireworks display and the religious celebrations dedicated to the saint, but also another series of events that will all be concentrated under the Carlo Alberto bridge . Practically in the shadow of the ancient Roman arches that are the oldest monument in the city. These include concerts, gastronomic evenings and moments dedicated to sport.

"I believe that this part of Acqui should become familiar to the citizens - says the mayor Danilo Rapetti -: for this reason, together with the Eventi Acqui association that has already successfully organized the carnival celebration, we have thought of something that can enhance the area in front of our most representative monument". An area for which, given the presence of such an important archaeological find, a security plan has already been prepared that provides a "vital" space around the arches.

The events dedicated to San Guido will begin on Saturday, July 13 : at 10 pm, a free concert show will be organized, a tribute to disco music with the Shary Band as the protagonist. On Sunday, July 14 , this time in the Bagni area, starting at 10 am, there will be a sports car exhibition, a "master show" and other shows dedicated to motoring by Raduni Eclipse. Also on Sunday, but again under the Carlo Alberto bridge, Cuban music will be the protagonist, while on Monday, July 15, after the fireworks show that will begin at 10:30 pm, you can participate in a disco evening with Cuban entertainment.

Every evening, therefore from Saturday 13th to Tuesday 16th July, the highlight of the fair, there will also be various moments dedicated to food and wine. Ravioli, farinata and grilled meat, chips and desserts are just some of the proposals that will be presented to the public."
