54. UNIVERSITY STADIUM, directly back of the Field House, Breese Terrace opposite Hoyt St., with seating capacity of 45,000, was built in 1918 and has since had five additions.-Wisconsin: A Guide to the Badger State 1941
University Stadium, now known as Camp Randall Stadium named for the nearby Civil War camp that was established to train Wisconsin troops at the request of President Abraham Lincoln. The stadium has undergone several more renovations to reach its current capacity of 76,057. As a University of Michigan fan I have it on my list of things to do to come here and watch a game between these two legendary schools.
