Shield in relief on the pediment at the entrance to the courtyard showing two lions holding the Great Britain coat of arms, but the shield in the middle is modified.
It is in this building heritage of Canada and Quebec.
The lions were silver plated, then painted the entire frieze and the lions went to gold, but now they are worn and look silver.
