The historic Wallace Theater is at the northeast corner of Houston and H, just north of the Hockley County Courthouse Square. Opened in 1928 as a state-of-the-art theater, recent rennovations have restored the theater to its former glory. Even as this work continues, the Wallace functions today as a premier arts, culture, and education center and continues to host concerts, films, live comedy, art shows, private events, and more.
