******************************************************************

This former neo-Gothic style Anglican church is located at the corner of des Pins and Saint-Patrice West streets in Magog, Quebec.

The construction of the church began in 1870, on land that Ralph Merry V would give to the Anglican Diocese of Quebec in 1885.

The construction took about ten years, but parishioners were able to use the church starting in 1874. The registers of this church begin in 1869, but the official consecration took place in 1874.

In 2008, the City officially listed the Anglican church as a heritage site and therefore committed to maintaining and preserving its original architectural features.

On December 31, 2017, St. Luke's Church celebrated its 143rd Christmas Eve service and announced at the same time the closure of the parish and the church. As of January 1, 2018, the parish's identity will be "St. Luke's Pastoral Community", with the next parish service taking place in the chapel of St. Patrick's Church.

Sold to the City of Magog, the church remained vacant for several years. In 2021, the building became the property of "Cherry River Microdistillery".

The former owners and the City of Magog imposed many constraints on the new owners project.
