This birdhouse designed by Thomas Burke who is well known for creating amazing birdhouses. This is one of two birdhouses he designed for the park. This one is designed to look like Martin Luther King Jr's childhood home. The only exception is the graffiti on it which may or may not been done by the artist (though it is likely).
The birdhouse stands on a post roughly 6 feet off the ground. It is a large yellow house that is two floors high. There are holes in each window for birds to go in, uncertain as to the possibility of separate rooms or floors.
The original house is a museum open for visits.
