The Fried Taco was established in Oklahoma City in 2016. As Edmond residents, it was always our dream to have a location in Edmond in addition to our location in Midtown OKC and our food truck. That wish came true in 2022 when we opened our Edmond location inside The Icehouse Project.

The Fried Taco is a scratch made kitchen built on a few core family recipes passed down from my family in Puerto Rico and some fantastic fusion recipes our family, as well as other members of our team have created over the years. The Fried Taco has been the recipient of Best Food Truck by SoSix Magazine, Top Five Food Trucks in OKC as well as Top Five Tacos in OKC by the Oklahoma Gazette readers and Best of OKC, and are winners of Most Creative Cuisine in the Oklahoma Food Truck Championship.

We are primarily a naturally gluten free kitchen (check with our team to hear more about our gluten free options) with vegan options available as well. We are available for catering and food truck rental and are happy to support our community through fundraising events at our restaurant.
