This plaque was placed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Prague 14th October 2016, the 170th anniversary of Count Kasimir Felix Badeni birth.
He was a Polish born politician who reached a leading position in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and he is very appreciated in Czech Republic as he was favourable to the parallel use of German and Czech language in the Czech.
The plaque is discreet, in light gray marble, and contains an image of the person and the text below. It's not clear why was this spot chosen for the plaque.
