"This Historic Church and Cemetery is now in the private ownership of Quinneys Bush. Anyone is welcome to enter the grounds to tend to the graves of their loved ones. The church is available for Christian services, weddings and funerals." [ex-street-side Anglican sign] Built in 1897.

"Built in 1892 (sic), St George's Anglican Church and cemetery is on State Highway 6, at Motupiko. The church has a separate belfry at the rear of the property near the entry to the church building.
"Designed by Stead Ellis and built by Messrs. James Tomlinson and Son of Brightwater, the church originally had seating for 70, but was extended in 1910. The church site was gifted by F. Brewerton.
"In 2019 the church was sold by the Anglican diocese to neighbouring Quinney’s Bush." [St George's Church, Motupiko] * Quinney's Bush is an Adventure Camp directly over the highway.
