Ruta Vía de la Plata, etapa 10, de Mérida a Alcuescar, una etapa dura, de 36 kilómetros donde hay pocas posibilidades de avituallamiento, hay que tener previsión de llevar líquidos, sobretodo en los meses de verano donde el calor aprieta por estas tierras.
Uno de los pasos obligados en esta etapa es el municipio de Aljucén, y su iglesia medieval de San Andrés Apostol, aquí podemos encontrar esta original señal realizada con mosaico e insertada en el asfalto de la carretera.
Via de la Plata Route, stage 10, from Mérida to Alcuescar, is a tough 36-kilometer stage with limited refreshment options. You should plan to bring fluids, especially during the summer months when the heat is intense in these parts.
