"Its most notable building is the parish church of the Holy Trinity, located in the center of the long street that runs east to west along the old Royal Road to Madrid and is the town's main street.
It is a small building with a tower and facade at the front, attractively composed, and doorways of austere Renaissance design, with Visigothic pieces embedded in the Epistle altarpiece. The interior is spacious, with a single nave with three bays and a narrower chancel. The church lacks a main altarpiece; part of the one it once had, a 16th-century work with fine carvings of Saints Peter and Paul, can still be seen on one side of the nave.
There are plans to transfer the altarpiece from Santa Marina de Zafra to this church. A notable piece is the image of Our Lady of the Pear, a proto-Gothic work recently restored with little success."
