Puerta de madera de doble hoja en acordeón, sobre un hueco de arco de medio punto y con fijo superior de hierro forjado, la decoración es muy pobre, tan solo superada por las columnas toscanas que la protege.
"El Teatro Manoel (en maltés: Teatru Manoel) tiene fama de ser el tercer teatro más antiguo de Europa aún en funcionamiento, y el teatro más antiguo en la Mancomunidad de Naciones aún activo. Situado en Calle vieja del teatro (Triq it-Teatru l-Antik) en La Valeta, ahora es el Teatro Nacional de Malta y el hogar de la Orquesta Filarmónica nacional de Malta (Orkestra Filarmonika Nazzjonali).
En 1731, António Manoel de Vilhena, el gran maestro portugués de los Caballeros de Malta, encargó y personalmente financió la construcción de este edificio central para que sirviera de Teatro Público "para la recreación honesta de la gente", siendo abierto al público en 1732."

A double-leaf accordion-shaped wooden door, over a semicircular arch and with a wrought iron upper panel, the decoration is very poor, surpassed only by the Tuscan columns that protect it.
"The Manoel Theatre (Maltese: Teatru Manoel) is reputed to be the third oldest functioning theatre in Europe, and the oldest theatre in the Commonwealth of Nations still active. Located on Old Theatre Street (Triq it-Teatru l-Antik) in Valletta, it is now the National Theatre of Malta and home to the Malta National Philharmonic Orchestra (Orkestra Filarmonika Nazzjonali).
In 1731, António Manoel de Vilhena, the Portuguese Grand Master of the Knights of Malta, commissioned and personally funded the construction of this central building to serve as a Public Theatre "for the honest recreation of the people," and it was opened to the public in 1732."
