The Briggs family has owned an operated this farm from the early 1900's. On Aug 18 2000, they received the Century award at the Davis County Fair. From 1996 to 2000 there have been 43 farms and ranches in Davis County to received this designation. The family owns the much of the property between 700 and 1200 south and 2500 and 2750 west minus a few residential property and the land the LDS Utah Syracuse Temple sits on.
