ZAP 16 will be located along Lamb Blvd, from Craig Rd to Owens. Six traffic light cabinets on the corners of the main intersections will be painted by six different artists.

The sticker concept is an ongoing series concept for my art practice. The sticker pile paintings are referred to as scattered thought assemblages where each sticker can symbolize an idea, and each painting can be a different moment in time captured. Juxtaposing all these images together allow for new connections in the meanings to emerge. With this Zap box piece in particular, I was marrying my public approach to work with my private art practice approach. Combining ideas and imagery from where the box is located to ideas and experiences through my eyes; (Flying back and forth, helping Vegas family out, domestic kind of stuff) Ideally the box functions as a snapshot of my experiences while in Vegas but allows for others to find their own meanings as well.
